A great way to use your sourdough discard and have a delicious breakfast 1 cup

Ingredients
1 cup of sourdough discard return space (230 grams)
1 cup milk or a buttermilk (230 grams)
2 tablespoons sugar (25 grams)
1 cup 100 of flour (30 grams)
1/2 teaspoon salt (2 grams)
1 teaspoon baking soda (5 grams)
3 tablespoons oil or melted butter (43 grams)

Instructions
Add wet ingredients sourdough discard milk and egg to a medium mixing bowl whisk thoroughly
Add sugar flour salt and baking soda to the wet mixture. Whisk whisk until smooth add your melted butter or oil and whisk again
Preheat your waffle iron in parentheses have a cup of coffee or at least a few sips while this rests it'll make a better batter
add batter 1/4 cup at a time to the waffle iron to avoid overflow for my waffle iron it takes about a cup smaller irons will take less
cooking waffle iron according to waffle iron instructions usually about 5 to 7 minutes per waffle if the smoke alarm goes off you've cooked them about a minute too long
Carefully remove the waffles from the waffle iron they will be hot they will be crispy and they will be yummy enjoy
